LoginThe coming year will mark another step forward as Evli, too, will be represented on the board of Finsif, Finland’s Sustainable Investment Forum. Petra Hakamo, Evli’s Head of Sustainability, will join Finsif's Board in January 2023, with the mission to promote the integration of responsibility in investment activities, both in Finland and in Europe at large.
"Finsif is doing ground-breaking work in the field of responsible investment, and it has been particularly rewarding to be part of Finsif's work while participating in working groups and events over the past few years. I am delighted to continue and strengthen this work in the coming year through board work," says Petra Hakamo, Head of Sustainability at Evli.
Evli has been a member of Finsif since the organisation was founded in 2010. Over the past 12 years, Evli has been actively involved in Finsif's activities, both in events and working groups, including the scholarship and sustainability reporting working groups. Finsif currently has over 90 member organisations and in 2022 Finsif became a member of the pan-European Eurosif.
"In the coming year, our sustainability work at Evli will focus on three themes in particular: climate, biodiversity and human rights. I look forward to seeing how we can disseminate our work more widely among experts in the field, as well as in Finsif's activities," Hakamo continues.
