Hanna Chau joined Evli’s Emerging & Frontier team in Stockholm as an analyst on September 1, 2026.
She will contribute to equity research for the Evli Emerging Frontier fund, focusing on company analysis, valuation modelling and in-depth business assessment. The role also involves travelling to meet current and potential investment targets.
Chau joins Evli from Swedfund International AB, where she worked as an investment analyst focusing on emerging market investments across Africa and Asia through funds, debt and equity investments. Prior to that, she completed internships in Financial Due Diligence at PwC and Equity Research at DNB. She holds a Master of Science in Finance from the School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg.

According to Chau, the opportunity to work in emerging markets while continuing to develop her expertise in equity research and investing alongside an experienced team was a key factor in joining Evli.
The appointment forms part of Evli’s ambition to continue growing its expertise in emerging and frontier markets. The team is expected to expand further in the future.
