LoginValtteri Ahti (Ph.D., Economics) has been appointed as Chief Strategist at Evli starting from August 1, 2021. Valtteri has strong experience in the analysis of global economics and the capital markets and is highly regarded both as a strategist and as a public speaker in economics. Valtteri has previously worked as the Chief Strategist in Danske Bank's Markets function and as Chief Economist at Evli, among others. He holds a PhD in Economics and completed his academic studies at the University of Helsinki, as well as at the prestigious Cambridge and Yale Universities.
Valtteri Ahti has previously worked at Evli from 2011 to 2017, and after a four-year absence he will return to Evli to start as Evli's Chief Strategist on August 1, 2021.

Valtteri Ahti will contribute to Evli's analysis of global economics and in the formation of its investment view, particularly in macro analysis and in forming the tactical allocation view. Evli also relies on external independent macro analysis in its analytical activities, such as the collaboration and development with the research house BCA Research.
"What I particularly like about asset management is that it requires the ability to think analytically and strategically and to take a long-term approach when forming a snapshot and the right investment views. This is a perfect match for my own personality, and my economics education provides a good foundation for it.
