Waltteri Vaittinen joined Evli’s Emerging & Frontier team in Helsinki as an analyst on May 6, 2026.
He will contribute to equity research for the Evli Emerging Frontier fund, focusing on company analysis, valuation modelling and in-depth business assessment. The role also involves travelling to meet current and potential investment targets.
Vaittinen joins Evli from Finnish Industry Investment (Tesi), where he worked with venture capital and growth investments, particularly in deep technology and green transition companies. He has also participated in quantitative research on global equity markets at Aalto University and worked in digital consulting at Futurice.
“Waltteri brings an analytical and proactive approach to the team. His international experience provides a strong foundation for understanding emerging markets,” says Antti Sivonen, Senior Portfolio Manager and Co-Head of the Emerging & Frontier team.
