At Evli, responsible investment means taking the environmental, social and good governance issues into account in our investment activities. We want to grow our clients' wealth responsibly, which is why responsibility is integrated into our asset management investment activities.
In 2022, numerous actions were taken to develop responsible investing at Evli.
“We expanded our client-specific responsibility reporting with new ESG indicators. We committed even stronger to climate and biodiversity work by signing the Net Zero Asset Managers initiative and by joining the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures forum. We continued to systematically engage with companies independently and through collaborative engagement initiatives. We also started a research project with UNICEF to advance child rights in investing and business. Evli is involved in exploring in particular the investor perspective, i.e., how children's rights are reported to investors and how information is integrated into investment processes”, says Petra Hakamo, Evli's Head of Sustainability.
Additionally in 2022, Evli was awarded for the second year in a row for the best competence in responsible investment in Finland in the SFR Scandinavian Financial Research client survey.
