Evli achieved the highest UN PRI responsibility rating

In its annual assessment, the PRI (Principles for Responsible Investment) has awarded Evli the highest grade (A+) in the Responsible Investment Strategy and Governance category. The score obtained from this category is often considered an assessment of the overall approach. This year, the median grade in this category was A.

Evli has been a PRI signatory since 2010. We are very honoured and pleased to know that our systematic and long-term work in responsible investing is recognised internationally. For us, responsibility is an area of important strategic priority, and responsible investing has been integrated into our entire investment activities,” says Kim Pessala, Head of Institutional Asset Management.

The PRI is the UN’s umbrella organisation for responsible investing, with Evli being a PRI signatory since 2010. Signatory members provide extensive and comprehensive reports annually to the PRI on their practices for responsible investing and the PRI uses these to assess the company's progress in responsible investing and development needs in different areas.

In addition to the Strategy and Governance rating, the assessment covers different types of investments, each of which receives its own grade. Evli also received good grades by investment type in various areas, exceeding the median in, for example, the categories for direct investments in active ownership and in corporate bond investments.
