Evli’s Responsible Investment Annual Report 2020 has been published

Responsibility has been an essential part of Evli's business operations for many years now. In 2020, Evli highlighted responsibility as one of its strategic focus areas and developed its operations even more actively. The Responsible Investment Annual Report 2020 has now been published.

The systematic work in the area of responsibility continued during 2020. Evli published, among other things, its revised ESG reports for equity and corporate bond funds, updated its Principles for Responsible Investment and its Climate Change and Ownership Control Principles, and expanded its exclusion criteria. Evli also launched three new funds focusing on responsibility.

“Responsibility is at the core of our strategy, and during 2020 we took a number of concrete steps to further develop our systematic work on responsible investment. Changes in regulation will mean that openness and transparency will become even more important. These are also cornerstones in our responsibility, and our clients have now access to both fund-specific ESG reports and their portfolio-specific ESG reports. In accordance with our strategic goals, we will publish Evli's climate targets during 2021. We are also happy to support our clients in their climate targets and the related work,” says Outi Helenius, Head of Sustainability at Evli.
