LoginDue to the exceptional circumstances caused by the coronavirus and the ban on gatherings of more than 10 people, Evli Fund Management Company Ltd will not be holding an Annual General Meeting of Unit Holders, according the valid rules of the mutual funds, in the spring of 2020. Evli Fund Management Company made this decision in accordance with the guidance and regulations issued by the authorities that are now in force. According to the valid rules of the mutual funds, an Annual General Meeting of Unit Holders should be held by the end of April.
Under Evli Fund Management Company Ltd’s Articles of Association and current legislation there would not have been any matters stated in the mutual fund rules for unit holders to resolve at the General Meeting of Unit Holders in 2020. The only matters to be dealt with at the meeting would have been the presentation of the financial statements and Board of Directors’ report of the Evli Fund Management Company and the mutual funds it manages. As the fund rules and the Act on Common Funds contain provisions on Extraordinary General Meetings of Unit Holders and the right of unit holders to request that a meeting be convened, failure to hold an Annual Meeting of Unit Holders shall not endanger the rights of the unit holders.
