Leipurin acquired by Lantmännen

Lantmännen is an agricultural cooperative and Northern Europe’s leader in agriculture, machinery, bioenergy and food products. Owned by 17,000 Swedish farmers, Lantmännen has 12,000 employees, operations in over 20 countries and an annual turnover of approximately SEK 70 billion.

Leipurin, established in 1917, is a leading B2B ingredients supplier to bakeries, food industry and the foodservice market in Sweden, Finland and the Baltic countries. The company has approximately 160 employees and net sales of EUR 133 million in 2024.

The acquisition of Leipurin is part of Lantmännen’s commitment to broaden and strengthen its presence across the food ingredients value chain. The transaction, which remains subject to approval by the relevant authorities, is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2026. Until the transaction is completed, Lantmännen and Leipurin continue to operate as separate companies.
