Rules of the non-UCITS funds Evli Global Multi Manager 40 and Evli Global Multi Manager 75 will b amended on May 26, 2008

The Board of Directors of Evli Fund Management Company Ltd has decided to amend the rules of the non-UCITS funds, Evli Global Multi Manager 40 and Evli Global Multi Manager 75. The most significant amendment concerns their conversion into funds governed by the so-called UCITS Directive, in which case the investment limits under section 5 of the funds' rules will be amended to correspond with the investment limits of a normal fund under the UCITS Directive.

The amendment to the rules means that the funds will be able to invest up to 20 % of their assets in a single mutual fund, in which case the assets will be distributed in at least five different funds. At the same time the rules have been updated to include a number of superficial changes in the legislation and official regulations and to conform with current practices. In addition, the obligation of non-UCITS funds to publish a quarterly report will be eliminated when the rule amendments come into force.

The Financial Supervision Authority confirmed the rule amendments, which concern all unit-holders, on March 12, 2008, and they will come into force on May 26, 2008. The rule amendments will have no effect on the fees collected by the funds or on the investment strategy they follow.
