Topical report on climate change from Evli
Evli Bank’s Investment Research has published a report on climate change on 5 April 2007. The report is the first major research on climate change and listed companies in Sweden. The report has received attention in Sweden, i.a. Dagens Industri writes about the research in its issue on 18 April: ”Evli Bank’s query to thirty Swedish listed companies shows that the companies have low awareness of the business risks the climate problems can create.”
“The climate factor will be one of the most important investment factors in the future. The pension challenge is a small thing compared to this,” says Anders Berg, Evli’s Head of Research, in the same article.
Evli Bank’s Investment Research has been ranked number one in Scandinavia by the “RQ Euro 300” report in four of the six most recent quarters. The report is published quarterly by AQ Research and results are based on sell-side firms’ accuracy in stock recommendations for the 300 largest European companies during the last 12 months.
