Investment Policy

Mutual Fund Evli Emerging Markets Debt (non-UCITS) invests its assets in a mutual fund managed by Sydinvest Administration A/S, which invests mainly in the fixed income markets of emerging economies. Typical target countries include Russia, Brazil, Turkey and Mexico.

Investment Objective

The aim is to earn a return which, in the long term, exceeds the return of the benchmark index JPMorgan EMBI Global Diversified (EUR hedged).

Emerging markets investments are subject to greater risk than traditional fixed income funds. The risk is reduced by diversifying the fund's assets by continent and country among the interest-bearing papers of different issuers.

We recommend the fund

  • to investors who seek higher returns than those offered by fixed income funds, but can tolerate the risks associated with the emerging markets
  • to investors who wish to capitalize on the growth of the emerging markets
  • to investors who wish to invest in the emerging markets with a well-diversified portfolio
  • to investors who have a long-term investment horizon (3-4 years)
