Evli was established in 1985 and has since been a trailblazer in the rapidly developing capital markets. Starting out as a four-man office, Evli has since expanded into an independent investment bank that today covers the whole Baltic Sea region.
Evli's operations have been marked not only by growth, but also by a strong spirit of enterprise and innovation. Indeed, this entrepreneurial drive has been a defining characteristic of our company. Without it, we would long ago have sunk into oblivion, cast aside into the quiet pools of complacency, out of touch with the swift currents of progress.
We have always been eager to question established ways, stretch limits and adapt to new situations. In the early years, Evli was likened to the light cavalry – swift, agile and highly effective, capable of striking and retreating rapidly without a trace.
The company has always sought the shortest, simplest and smartest route to a solution. It has lived by its motto that 'nothing is so fixed that it cannot be changed if circumstances demand it'.
